13/03/2011 · My mum bought two whipper snippers and they both don’t want to start. We put petrol in the tank, close it. I pull the cord and just a bit of rev and nothing. I try holding all the buttons together on hand grip aswell as I pull the cord and still nothing. And yes the switch is turned on. I thought it might be the whipper snipper but when she got the other one that won’t work either. Any help
This whipper snipper is high revving and is very temperamental to start. It was purchased to replace my previous Stihl wipper snipper which I had had for many years but this one doesn’t stack up to it’s predecessor. It is used for my residential front and back garden and just meets my needs. I would hate to be using it in a large area.
